The Garden's fall exhibition features sculpture in bamboo-one of the world's most sustainable mediums. Bamboo is a material close to the hearts of Japanese gardeners-and the bamboo basketry of Japan is known throughout the world for its superb craftsmanship and refined beauty. Jiro Yonezawa, one of Japan's finest bamboo artists, displays his mastery of bamboo using traditional forms and modern sculpture in Dream Weaver: The Bamboo Art of Jiro Yonezawa.
