Raise the Roof! Irving Street Lofts Gets New Rooftop Deck

by pearlgirl

Inspired by our post about Weiden+Kennedy's beautiful deck, a resident of Irving Street Lofts sent us photos of their new rooftop deck. What???—you didn't know that Irving Street had a rooftop deck? Oh yeah they do, and now it has gotten a major facelift. After months of work, the building held its ribbon-cutting ceremony on May 16. Check out more pics...

Residents are now tackling the fun part of the project: urban gardening. They're currently putting together a cohesive gardening plan, but are anxious to put it in action. As you might have guessed, the rooftop is a very popular place for parties, reading a book and soaking up the sun.

Congrats to the Irving Street residents on this accomplishment!
