It's Official. Landfair Moving!

The Pearl Design Center is the newest addition to the growing
Home Design area in the northern end of the Pearl District. With over 47,000+ sf, it's a great location for retailers, showrooms, and studios specializing in home furnishing and design.
At this time we'd like to announce the first Tenant to Pearl Design
Center: Landfair Furniture & Design Gallery. Currently located on Macadam, Landfair Furniture & Design (Gallery) showcases high end furniture and home furnishing lines, and is a favorite of local Interior Designers. Pearl Design Center is proud to be their new home.
Pearl Design Center is being completed in phases, with just over 6,000 sf currently ready for Tenant Improvements. An additional 18,500 sf is being pre-leased, with 15,000sf slated for completion in Spring 2007, and 13,500 sf, slated for completion in Summer 2007.

Have you checked out PearlDistrict.com lately? Wow. They are a one click stop on the Pearl.... they have a business directory, blog and listings of all properties that are for sale. If a hand reached through my computer screen and handed me a pastry from Nuvrei -- that would be the ultimate -- but it's pretty darn swell the way it is now.

Fratelli's Valentine's Day Aphrodisiac Dinner is an exquisite menu of cuisine that inspires the palate and the heart. The menu will start Tuesday, February 13 and continue through February 17. It will be offered exclusively on Valentine's Day, February 14th. Hours will be extended on this romantic day, starting early at 4:30pm and staying open late. Deschutes Brewery is opening a new pub in Portland's trendy Pearl District, the Bend-based craft-brewing company confirmed Friday.
This will be the first time the Deschutes Brewery & Public House will exist outside its Central Oregon base, tapping into an area that holds the brewery's largest consumption base, said Dave Wilson, director of sales and marketing.
"Our welcome mat is the pub," Wilson said. "The pub is a social gathering place and we want to provide that to our customers in Portland."
Details of the new location will be formally released next week, Wilson said, adding that the pub will occupy a site that had not housed any food or beverage facilities. The space will be gutted for construction of the pub that Wilson hopes will be open in eight to 10 months.
