by the nice brian
audio I love music. This cart was left unattended for a good while yesterday. The owner managed to plug in his stereo set to some outlet and play the radio for many of us to enjoy. It was audible from about two blocks away.

Kids Marching Band - first practice was great!

by nancy
IMG_0124 Here's part of a post from I Love Portland . She's writing about the first practice of the Kids Marching Band. We were there, and it was a LOT of fun. I Love Portland says: "The Kids Marching Band had it’s first practice and it was a hit! We all introduced ourselves, talked about our instruments and costumes and practiced the marching song. Then Jake and Leeland, with their rhythm sticks and recorder, led us to Jamison Square where we showed off all of our fun to the other kids! It was great and we can’t wait to do it again! The innocent onlookers laughed and clapped." The photos really round out the story. You can see them here , at our flickr page.
