DB Clay Folds It Up

I've always enjoyed the unique wallets made by NE Portland's DB Clay. (I'm not sure which NE Portland neighborhood they're located in) This local company successfully transformed the utilitarian wallet into a design object. Their seasonal releases of new designs are something I always look forward to—and now, it's something I'll miss. Yesterday, I learned that DB Clay is closing its doors due to economic conditions. It's really sad to lose such a great local business.
You can still order online—orders must be placed by October 15—or visit one of DB Clay's exclusive retailers to shop the limited inventory.
