DB Clay Folds It Up

I've always enjoyed the unique wallets made by NE Portland's DB Clay . (I'm not sure which NE Portland neighborhood they're located in) This local company successfully transformed the utilitarian wallet into a design object. Their seasonal releases of new designs are something I always look forward to—and now, it's something I'll miss. Yesterday, I learned that DB Clay is closing its doors due to economic conditions. It's really sad to lose such a great local business. You can still order online—orders must be placed by October 15—or visit one of DB Clay's exclusive retailers to shop the limited inventory. Shop Talk - The Arrangement

I love shopping in my own Northeast neighborhood. I'm quite lucky to have some great little boutiques practically around the corner! Take The Arrangement , for instance. I always seem to have plenty of time to shop there since it's conveniently located next to hubby-magnets such as Pizzicato, Beaumont Market and the hardware store.
