Alberta Street Oyster Bar & Grill
by stockboy
Let me preface this post by stating that I am not a food critic, but I enjoy eating out and experiencing new and unique restaurants. Pie Footwear in partnership with Albina Community Bank , Teva Footwear , The Waterkeeper Alliance , Soles4Souls and The Alberta Street Fair will host a Shoe Donation & Recycling Drive during the 11th annual Alberta Street Fair on Saturday, September 13th. Shoes collected will be donated to Soles4Souls and distributed on a national and international level to people in need. Soles4Souls participated in donating over 1 million pairs of shoes to help aid the relief efforts for the Asian Tsunami and the Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. For each shoe collected, Teva will donate $1 to The Waterkeeper Alliance. The Waterkeeper Alliance is a grassroots advocacy organization with 177 local Waterkeeper programs and growing.
