Classical Ballet Academy Presents “The Nutcracker”

The full-length show for 2008 features aspiring ballet professionals performing such holiday favorites as the Sugar Plum Fairy, Candy Canes and Arabian Princesses. This will be the Classical Ballet Academy’s fourth consecutive year performing for Portland audiences. The show’s professional costumes, extravagant sets, and fresh choreography are sure to yield another season of sold-out performances.

WHEN:     Saturday, Dec. 6th 2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, Dec. 7th 2:30 p.m.

WHERE:     St. Mary’s Academy Theater
1615 SW 5th Avenue Downtown Portland, OR

TICKETS:    $15 for youth and adults
$10 for seniors 65 and over and children under 9

Tickets are available online at www.classicalballet.net or during specific hours at Classical Ballet Academy, 7970 SE Milwaukie Avenue in Sellwood. Please check the website for times. Remaining tickets will be available at the theater the day of the performances.

Unlike other Nutcracker productions, Classical Ballet Academy’s performance showcases over 175 student dancers as a training ground for aspiring ballet professionals.
