To show their appreciation for your unflinching support FOTM's gonna throw down next Thursday and offer 25 cent wings at their Burnside location from 4-6pm. This is for dine-in only. Stick around afterwards and enjoy the sweet sounds of Erin Chambers and her One Woman Orchestra. Square Deal's basic wine and cheese classes are intimate, about 14 people, and they spend our time talking with you about why they love this business. They'll give you some insight into how and why they source, import, sell, and talk about wine the way they do. They'll pair the wines with 4-5 cheeses from Steve's and wax poetic. The cost is a mere $20 per person which is fully waived if you buy any full or mixed case that evening. You'll be greeted with a glass of bubbly and it only gets better from there. They'll taste 6-8 wines and you'll leave knowing something more than you did when you arrived. Reservations are necessary so please call (503) 226-9463 to sign up.

This French tradition has received its share of fanfare as revelers around the globe take up the chant, "Le Beaujolais Nouveau Est Arrivé!" This holiday season Castagna will continue the tradition of the French-inspired family-style holiday dinner Réveillon de Noêl on December 23 at 6:30 p.m. The menu created by chef Elias Cairo features traditional Goose prepared two ways - braised leg and thigh and roasted breast, along with roasted vegetables, the popular Bûche de Noêl holiday dessert and two glasses of wine.
